If there were one thing I could tell the younger version of myself, I would say “you don’t need to work so hard to prove others wrong, because you are worthy of proving yourself right.”

My goal is to give clients a space to be heard and truly express themselves.

Choosing to seek therapy is such a brave step. I have always had a deep love for witnessing the very beginning stages of a person’s journey of healing. Often, clients will contact me while still questioning their decision and asking themselves:

“Is this the right time to go to therapy?”

“Will I be understood?”

“What will therapy even be like?

Sometimes, therapy may not have been possible in the past. Maybe it felt too unknown, or just wasn’t even a consideration.

No matter what, making the decision to walk in our office doors and sit on the couch can be overwhelming. It is my goal that when walking out, every client has felt truly seen. I will always listen to my clients with empathy and curiosity.

I support clients as they face challenges with a renewed sense of confidence and empowerment. My goal for clients is to take the insight, skills, and resources learned in therapy to reconnect with what was once a barrier in their lives.

During my undergraduate career, I worked as a research assistant in the Motivation and Cognitive Science Lab at The Ohio State University which studied the motives and circumstances that lead people to change their minds.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University in 2020 and my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling: Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy from Belmont University in August 2022. During my graduate school internship with Replenish Counseling, I co-led a high school girls’ processing group.

I am a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. I am most interested in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems Therapy, as well as grief work. I am trained in PREPARE/ENRICH and in animal assisted therapy with our therapy dog Norman.

I especially love to work with…

  • People who have never sought out counseling before
  • Clients who want to find their voice
  • Those who desire meaningful social connections
  • Teens and young adults to learn coping skills for the challenges they face
