If there were one thing I could tell the younger version of myself, it would be that you deserve love, care, and support no matter what.

My goal is to allow clients to explore who they really are.

Above all else, my clients are the expert of their own experience.

We all have different life experiences. For example, I have my own experience as a queer and neurodivergent person – I have insight into these experiences that others might not. I also know that my life experiences are not universal.

I want my clients to know that your experiences are important to me. You will always be heard and see exactly as you are as my client.

As I was in graduate school for my degree, I was taking my own mental health journey and learning more about myself. As I was able to understand myself better, I realized that my greatest passion lies in helping people uncover their identities and live in a way that honors who they are.

I want to help you explore who you are and what you are passionate about, so that you can be your true self with everyone around you. When we are able to be authentic, our relationship with friends, family, and ourselves can flourish more than we ever thought possible.

I get most excited working with individuals to…

  • Explore their identity.
  • Become and express the most authentic version of themselves.
  • Develop boundaries based on what is truly best for them.
  • Become self-assured in who they are and who they can become.
  • Discover peace with their identity as an individual in the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Move past their neurodivergent stigmas to discover their strengths and abilities.

MY AREAS OF Specialty

Anslie's Office, Laurel, Nashville, TN, Replenish Her Counseling

I received my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Trevecca Nazarene University in December 2021. In spring 2023, I presented about therapeutic uses for Tabletop Role-Playing Games (TTRPGs) at the TLPCA conference. I have led multiple groups, including a teen processing group, LGBTQ+ teen support group, and a therapist TTRPG experiential training group.

Every client is different, and I believe there is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy. I love to use different modalities, techniques, and education based on the individual needs of each of my clients. I love to incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) approaches and I have been trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Sandtray.

I am a pre-licensed clinician and under the direct oversight of Christine Finnegan, the Clinical Director at Replenish Counseling, as well as my Licensing Supervisor, Cadey Phipps LMFT (License #1348). This means that my clinical work is reviewed with both Cadey and Christine to ensure the best quality care is rendered to my clients.
